Astghik Sakanyan

Astghik Sakanyan started her piano career in Armenia at Yerevan's Sayat Nova School of Music. Later she moved to Spain, where she received her bachelor's degree from the Joaquin Rodrigo Conservatory of Music. During the last year of her undergraduate studies, she was awarded a scholarship to study at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary, where she graduated with honors. In the last five years, she has been working as a teacher and has performed in many solo and chamber music recitals. Now a resident of the Bay Area, Astghik continues her career as a teacher and performer while working on her graduate degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
