Trio Audace

Known for their "soulful and audacious performances" (KMFA), Trio Audace are a new and imminent piano trio formed by students of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. It was founded in October of 2015 by Da Huang (violin), Edward Luengo (violoncello), and Ning Zhou (piano). They have worked with Jennifer Culp, Jean- Michel Fonteneau, Wei He, Jodi Levitz, Sharon Mann, Mack McCray, and Ian Swensen as well as guest masterclasses with the Takács Quartet and the Israeli Chamber Music Project. After their debut recital in 2016, Trio Audace were awarded 1st Prize at the 3rd Annual Coltman Chamber Music Competition followed by becoming the first Ensemble- in-Residence at the emerging DeCoda Skidmore Chamber Music Institute where they studied with the DeCoda Chamber Ensemble along with guest artists Caroline Shaw, Michael Kannen, and Maria Lambros.
