Mia Nardi-Huffman

Violinist Mia Nardi-Huffman is quickly gaining recognition as a versatile and dynamic performer of contemporary and chamber music in San Francisco. An advocate of contemporary music, Mia is a member of the Bay Area-based Wild Rumpus, praised as a "fresh young ensemble" by the Wall Street Journal. Mia has been concertmaster of the Conservatory Orchestra for several years, and is the recipient of both the Vicent Costatino and Sergei Barsukov Violin Scholarships. She will complete her Masters Degree at the SF Conservatory of Music in May of 2016, where she studies under Bettina Mussumeli. Mia has also studied privately with Shirley Givens and Akiko Silver, as well as chamber music with Mark Sokol and Yuval Waldman. As a chamber musician, she has performed with leading artists including David Tanenbaum, Bettina Mussumeli, and Jean-Michel Fonteneau.

Violinist Mia Nardi-Huffman is quickly gaining recognition as a versatile and dynamic performer of contemporary and chamber music in San Francisco. Her chamber music groups have won numerous awards, and have been featured on The McGraw Hill Financial Young Artists Showcase on WQXR. Passionate about teaching and spreading the joy of music, Mia maintains a private studio in San Francisco and does outreach performances for schools, hospitals, and elderly care facilities with the Conservatory in the Schools Project.
